how to clean my penis properly

if you are circumcised, then you only need to wash your penis, scrotum and anal area properly with a normal body wash or body soap

do not use any strong cleaning liquids that can burn, irritate or hurt your genitals. lift up your genitals and wash underneath and around it properly. make sure you rinse all soapiness otherwise it might irritate or burn the sensitive skin

if your skin is very dry and itchy, apply a little body lotion or body cream. some men also use body powder to help with odor and excessive sweat in the groin area

if you are not circumcised you need to wash as describe above, but you must take extra care about the foreskin of your penis. you need to pull the foreskin backwards to expose the penis head. then properly wash with soapy water and rinse with clean water

take care if your foreskin cannot retract all the way until the head of the penis is completely exposed. if your foreskin is to tight or the opening is to small to open up like that, don’t force the foreskin to expand or tear. when this is true for you, take soapy water and try rinsing it underneath the foreskin without pushing anything (a wash towel, tissue paper or ear butts) in between the penis head and the foreskin that might get stuck, clog, hurt or damage yourself. then make sure to rinse out any soapy water afterwards and dry your genitals normally

don’t ever push anything into the penis opening to clean the inside of the tube. it is very sensitive and you might clog it up, hurt or tear some of the skin or the urinary tract at the opening.

if there is any red infected or swollen area and it does not heal up in a day or two, you might have to consult a doctor. if it is severe or you injured yourself on any area of your genitals or anal area, then you need immediate medical attention.

circumcision is when the foreskin that covers up the head (glands) of the penis is surgically removed to expose the penis head permanently. This means that there is no skin that cover the penis head.

-circumcision can be done because of religious beliefs where parents take their baby boys to be circumcised at a specific age.

-it can also be done as a cultural believe or ‘coming of age’ ritual when boys make a choice to be circumcised.

-sometimes it can be done because of a medical treatment procedure to eliminate the possibility of infections under the foreskin. (usually when it is to tight or the opening is to small to be cleaned properly)

  • The scrotum is the skin bag that hangs behind your penis and contain the two testicles. The testicles produce sperm cells. Sometimes men were born with only one testicle inside the scrotum sack. Don’t panic if that’s the case for you, because it will not affect your manliness or your masculinity and you are not less a man. You will also be able to conceive children and live a normal life. If it does bother you, you might consider an artificial testicle implant.

  • The anal area is between a man’s legs just behind his genitals to the back. This is where the opening (rectum) is where solid secretion comes out when going to the toilet.

  • The genitals consist out of the penis and scrotum sack that hangs between a man’s legs.

  • The groin area is the inside and outside area around a man’s genitals.

  • The foreskin is the skin that covers the head of the penis. (if you are not circumscribed)
